In response to the new community voucher scheme, OK Care, as an approved service unit for community vouchers, is able to assist community voucher holders in renting assistive technology products to improve their quality of life and reduce the pressure of carers at home. It is hoped that the voucher holders and their carers can use different types of quality assistive technology products and build up the habit of using the devices in their daily life. Elderly voucher holders can make use of the assistive technology devices to support their daily life, such as reducing the risk of falls, or helping elderly with joint degeneration or joint replacement surgeries to live a more convenient and safe life.
